What is Locker Room Access?

Locker Room Access is a platform built for the fans by the players.  In an era of player empowerment, Locker Room Access provides a place where players and fans can support their College/University.  As College players graduate or move into the professional ranks, many of their college fans follow and support them throughout their careers. Locker Room Access gives both players and fans a place to mutually share in their love for their Alma Mater.

How does it work? 

Locker Room Access has the technical resources to host blogs, podcasts, merchandise, forums and videos.  As we build a name in the community, players can use Locker Room Access to share a story, business, charity and monetize their likeness.  Fans get an opportunity to get even closer to the team and players they love. Purchasing custom gear, attending events, listening to content around the sports team they love.   Businesses can also support their alumni by sponsoring content, hosting events and more.  

You may be wondering, why don’t I just go through the University Athletics Department or the University itself?  Here’s the difference, Colleges and Universities are staffed and designed to support the current students and administration.  It’s difficult for them to continue to support the alumni of different groups throughout their careers. They provide some services, but in general, the relationship between Alumni and their University’s Athletics department is dependent on the coaches and players to maintain.  As you can imagine, as staff and players change hands over the years, people lose a sense of connection with their college. Locker Room Access is working to be that connective tissue that supports both sides of that story. The fans, the players and the college should all continue to support each other.  

So how do players get paid?  There are multiple ways.  

• Merchandising – Locker Room Access can help design, manufacture and sell gear using the likeness of a player.  This gives the player ultimate control and monetization.
• Events – Locker Room Access hosts live events (podcasts, camps, games) where they can share in all monetization

How do fans support?  

• If you have a business, reach out to us to sponsor content, events or forums.
• Follow, watch and subscribe to content on all our social channels
• Purchase gear, attend events, post on message boards
• Write a blog, ask questions, stay active on Locker Room Access

What about paying current players? 

While paying current players is still against NCAA regulations, Locker Room Access has developed a platform for players to monetize their likeness. However, at the moment, currently enrolled players are not able to participate.  The moment the NCAA allows players to monetize their likeness, Locker Room Access will have the system in place to execute.
